Please, please, please

Oh God, please happen.

To be fair...

All you losers would shit your pants. It would be a good situation; it's about time for Jr. to rock bombs as a DH.

To comment on Tdubs commentary a few posts back (I'm doing it now because I'm sure no one looks back at old comments) what the hell are you talking about? Actually, I agree with you, new regimes shouldn't run off the previous coaches players and get a pass for sucking for a few years, and I agree with the 2 examples you provided. It is your exception with which I take exception. Haven't 3 of Tubby's scholarship transferred now? And didn't he do everything in his power to run Bradley off before they ended up having some creepy and fairly gay end of the year make up (and probably make out) session? And didn't he always start some crappy guy (I can't even think of that clown's name) because he deserved it because of his heart and desire, only to pull him for the rest of the game at the first dead ball? Nice reward for your grit kid! And wait a minute, didn't UK suck last year? Oh sure, they rolled through a pathetically weak SEC schedule and even mustered a tourney bid, but aren't you guys the Mighty University of Kentucky? Have a little pride for Pete's sake, it's embarrassing. If you guys get to call that turd of a season a success, I'm claiming UofL's football season a success citing the come from behind victory over the football powerhouse Rutgers. After all Kentucky did only have 1 more regular season win than Louisville. Billy Clyde is every bit the joke that Kragthorpe is (and that's pretty big) and let me just say that as a Louisville fan, I couldn't be happier that he is at UK.

Yes, two of Tubby's scholarship fellas are gone: Williams (really glad he's gone as he never would have played and never should have been at UK) and Jasper (really not happy he decided to leave). The other to jump ship was one of BCG's own recruits. That probably strengthens your argument but just wanted set it straight. The difference I see in the scenarios is that Gilispie inherited a team that was, at best, mediocre and even the bluest of bluenecks probably thought a sweet 16 was the best possible scenario. I don't think he should be saluted for a great season, because he didn't produce one, but there was descernable progress which is much more than you can say for the shit-fest that UL football was last year. I figured a UL fan would like the way our basketball team performed last year. We just ripped a page out of the Pitino Bible. I guess we did so when he was having a press conference about how his whole crappy front line was going to go pro...or was it the conference where he got mad at one of those gusy for going pro..but I digress. Anyway, UK underachieved early (See Gardner Webb, San Diego etc.) only to turn it around in February and get back to about where we should have been all along. Sound familiar? See UL basketball, the Pitino years, excluding the NIT runs.
